The nighttime hero

The nighttime hero

Each night, when I climb into bed,
I grab my Pandy by his little arm
He waits for me to fall asleep
He promises to meet me where I am once I have drifted off
He does not breath, but he is real
Pandy knows about the night terrors,
As do all the other stuffed bears.
He gives me a promise every night,
To protect me from unexpected intruders
I don’t see it happen but I know it does
As I wake and I turn over
I know he has worked his nighttime magic
And I look forward to his visit every night

Poem 2

If time had a place where would it go
Does it go anywhere once it has past
Is there such thing as perfect timing or bad timing

We pay for time
We work for time
We need to make time

Does time ever stop
Time rules the world
Time is of an essence

Time can be beautiful
Time is wise
Time is what you make it

Seasons

Seasons let you know he’s coming.
He has flown across the world sprinkling his emotions in the air.
He’s not always happy, sometimes very bitter.
He’ll leave you with a crackled lip and raw skin.
A touch of shivers as you walk outside to what he has left behind.

He always returns to his home that he had left behind.
As he looks around and sees the emptiness of world, he decides to make a change.
He gets in touch with nature.
The flowers fight to become noticed.
The once bare trees that patiently waited are ready to be the homes of many beautiful creatures.

Although there is one who is stronger than seasons.
He likes to be a surprise.
When the time is ready and nature is blooming,
He shines and lights up the world with his warmth.
